Toshiba 55TL515U Review - Page 2
Value Rating: 8.5/10
The 55TL515 is available for between $1399 and $1799 from authorized online dealers. Considering how well the passive 3D looks, this might also be a great option if you will have lots of people watching the TV since extra passive 3D glasses are inexpensive. There are lots of extras with this TV. The only thing it's missing is a web browser. Competition is from the Samsung UN55D6400, The LG 55LW6500, and the Sony KDL55EX720.
Overall Rating: 8.3/10
Calibration Notes: The one drawback is a 2 point white balance rather than 10. We were also overall impressed with the preset Picture Modes on this TV especially the Movie 1 and Movie 2 settings which will give you a respectable picture right out of the box. For brighter in-room lighting increase the backlight option to 80 or more.
