Below is a listing of the current Samsung 3D TV models. The higher the green dot rating beside each series, the more features and higher the price of that series. Each individual model is listed below the name of the series and that model number link will take you directly to the individual Samsung 3D TV product page where you will find information such as a commentary by our editors on the features, pricing by online authorized dealers, and if that particular model has been reviewed by our review staff it will have ratings on picture quality, features, and value.

Samsung 8000 Series LED TV  

The D8000 line of LED 3D TVs Feature a new look with a slim, chrome bezel that surrounds the panel and a chrome 4 legged stand for a very high end appearance. The 8000 includes 2 pairs of Samsung's improved active 3D glasses and the already excellent Smart Hub internet TV system includes a full web browser and a QWERTY keyboard on the remote.

Samsung D8000 Series  

The D8000 series represents the high end of Samsung's new "+1" plasmas, these new televisions all feature a 1 inch larger screen than last year and the TV is still the same size. More TV, less bezel, nice. Full HD 3D and Samsung's new Smart Hub online TV features are other highlights.

Samsung 7000 Series LED TV  

The D7000 is only a small step down from the D8000 with a slightly different look and most of the same features as the 8000 at less of a price. It does lack the web browser that's built into the 8000 but still has access to the App Store and many streaming content providers.

Samsung Plasma D7000 Series  

Samsung's D7000 line of plasmas features the new +1 screen sizes, 1" more screen in the same size TV. These 3D plasmas also feature Samsung's new Smart Hub Internet TV.

Samsung 6400 Series LED TV  

The D6400 represents the entry level in Samsung 3D LED LCD TVs, don't let the entry level tag throw you, this TV is packed with many top of the line features such as Smart TV internet capability and built in WiFi.

Samsung D6500 Series  

The D6500 is another line of +1 plasmas from Samsung for 2011, lacking a few features of the more expsinve D8000, the D6500 retains the looks and near perfect picture quality of the flagship model at a lower price. This mid-price 3D plasma packs plety of features.

Samsung D550 Series  

The D550 is the entry level 1080p 3D plasma from Samsung for 2011, this mid-tier plasma is also "+1" featuring a 1" larger screen in the same sized enclosure. It does not feature the Smart TV internet features, however, it does have DLNA Allshare networking for playing media on your TV.

Samsung D490 Series  

The D490 are entry level 3D plasmas, they feature a 720p and active 3D technology. These plasma offer 3D at a budget price. As a 720p 3D plasma the D490 series is unique in the 3D market offering this desireable feature at a very low price point.

Samsung 9000 Series LED TV  

Samsung's flagship line at CES 2010 is the 9 series of LED televisions. Home entertainment innovation abounds in these TVs from the pedestal stand/wall mount bracket containing all the cirsuitry to the touch screen remote control than display broadcast signals on the screen. Throw in the .28 inch depth of the unit and the built in internet connectivity and you have a serious home entertinment hub for your TV room.

Samsung 8000 Series LED TV  

Samsung's 8000 series LED TVs for 2010 feature 3D capability in a slim, contemporary design thanks to the LED edge lighting. Samsung's proprietary 3D system allows compatibility with multiple 3D formats to provide access to 3D content from many sources.

Samsung 7000 Series LED TV  

Samsung's 7000 series LED TVs for 2010 feature a new contemporary design thanks to the LED edge lighting. In fact the depth of the unit looked to us to be around the same 1.2 inches in depth from the 2009 model. The big difference that we noticed at CES 2010 in aesthetics was the much smaller bezel/frame which was only about 1 inch on top and sides of the TV screen.

Samsung LCD C750 Series  

The LNB750 Series is a CFL backlit series of 1080p, 240Hz LCDs with built in ehternet access to Samsung's Internet@TV.

Samsung Plasma C8000 Series  

Samsung's new line up of plasmas was on display at CES 2010 and the C8000 series is the top of the line. The 1080p panel uses Samsung's Real Black Filter for a rich image. The C8000 series is 3D ready and features a slim design with a brushed titanium Touch of Color for a stylish, modern look.

Samsung Plasma C7000 Series  

Samsung's C7000 line up of plasmas for 2010 feature 1080p Clear Image Panels in a Brushed Black Touch of Color bezel. These televisions are 3D ready like many of the TVs at CES this year.

Samsung 3D TV at CES 2011

Samsung did not have much in terms of 3D TV display. They did a nice job of highlighting the new very light active shutter glasses they are now producing.
