Jack Burden
After volumes of hemming and complaining about having to put on glasses to watch 3D programming, consumers and the media alike seem to be getting over the 3D glasses hangup. You just dont notice all the complaining that was going on before, leading us to believe that we may be turning a corner in acceptance of 3D glasses. If so, glasses free 3D may not be that big a need in the future. Passive 3D technology uses very light glasses that dont have much glare. The 3D images are not as intense, but for those that dont like glasses maybe these unobtrusive passive 3D glasses will gain more acceptance.
