Samsung's D7000 Plasma 3D TV Earns Top Marks with Consumer Reports Reviews

In Consumer Reports' latest HDTV ratings Samsung's PN59D7000 3D Plasma TV came out with top marks, backing up the review we conducted earlier on the 51 inch PN51D7000. The set scored well not only for 3D but also for is overall 2D picture quality. This series is currently the top rated television across all of our websites. Samsung's other 3D TVs also scored well in Consumer Reports testing.

For detail and resolution CR preferred active 3D TV but found that the passive 3D TVs had also shown a lot of improvement and that some viewers preffered the brighter image and lighter weight glasses of the passive models.
