At $2500 from authorized Internet retailers the 55LW6500 offers lots of extra features which can help future proof this TV. It has a nice Internet suite, great sleek looks, and Cinema Passive 3D – not to mention the super cool Magic Wand remote and full web browser. Competition with compatible features comes from the Sony KDL55NX720 and the Samsung UN55D7000.

HQV Processing (Chip set) Tests
Processor Testing Results: In processor testing the LW6500 tested poor in a couple of categories notably the film resolution loss test where there was too much picture noise and wobble. In the HD background test there was apparent flicker and noise in the background behind the orchids.
